Hate Story started on average note in single screens and below average at multiplexes. But the film managed to show good growth in evening and night shows, specially Multiplex shown excellent growth as these types of films are not expected to do so well in plexes.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya first week boxoffice collection . Big Hit.

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya did very well in its first week with collection going past 50cr mark. Film had excellent weekend of 33.80cr nett and after that it sustained well on weekdays by showing normal drop of 10-15% on each day.

Boxoffice prospects of this Friday release Hate Story 2.

This Friday Hate Story 2 will be hitting the cinemas, film  will be targeting single screen audience. Film is an erotic thriller starring Surveen Chawala, Jay Bhanushali, and Shushant singh in lead roles. HS2 is directed by Vishal Pandya .

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya heading for 50cr plus first week. Remains steady on tuesday.

After very good first weekend HSKD remained steady on weekdays. Monday saw normal drop in collection and on Tuesday also collections were quite steady. HSKD collected 5cr app. on tuesday as per early estimates, thus taking its total collection to 44.50cr nett which is just fantastic for an medium budget movie.

Salman Khan to star in Karan Johar's next "Shudhi".

Karan Johar's next "Shudhi" was making news all around since long, there was much speculations about its casting. Film was first offered to Hrithik who even agreed to do this but after some time due to some personal issues he refused to do the movie.

Akshay Kumar to host Big Boss - Season 8.

If rumors are to be believed then Khiladi Kumar have been asked to host the season 8 of Big Boss. Earlier it was reported that Shahrukh will host the next season but now all those news has been denied. Reports says that Shahrukh was never approached for the hosting.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya released last friday and took excellent start at the boxoffice by collecting around 9cr nett on its first day. Film did excellent business in north, specially in the areas like East Punjab and Delhi/UP. While business down south and in Mumbai wasn't up to the mark.

Jai Ho collected around 3.25cr on friday and shown decent jumps thereafter on saturday and sunday but still collections are just Average at best. Jai Ho has 14cr second weekend which is very low figure considering it features one of the biggest Superstar of bollywood. Jai Ho failed to sustain well in weekdays with collection dropping with each passing day.

Jai Ho started on decent note and with the help of Republic Day it has collected good in its first weekend though collection were still not upto the mark for an Salman starrer, then on monday it has been able to hold well but thereafter it started dropping very fast collection came down rapidly and now film is struggling at the boxoffice. Friday has shown big drop with final collection are coming around 3cr nett which is very low figure for film like Jai Ho.

Year 2014 started with big disappointments in month January with films like Yaariyan, Dedh Ishqiya, Mr. Joe B. Carvalho, One By Two etc. Jai Ho seems to have good content but the boxoffice numbers are not upto the mark. Jai Ho was first big release of the year 2014 but it underperformed at the boxoffice and struggling to achieve Hit status. Now all eyes are on the releases of February 2014. Some interesting movies are lined up to release in February like Hasee Toh Phasee, Gunday, Highway, Shadi Ke Side Effects etc.

One by Two started very slow in morning shows and it was almost certain that it won't be able to put good number even if it will show any jump. Its best collection are coming from Delhi area and rest of india has very dull occupacy throughout the day film somehow managed jump in some areas specially in Delhi but still first day figures will be low.

One By Two has sedate start with occupacy ranging from 8-10% all over India. Is has very dull start so even if it will show good jump throughout the day still final figure will be very low. Delhi Multiplexes has been opened slightly better but that won't be able to make any big difference.
