Jai Ho First week collection report.

Jai ho was expected to do huge business at the boxoffice and was also expected to create some new records like Salman's previous movies did. Salman is huge crowd puller and has best fan following in masses, his all recent movies did phenomenal business in almost every circuit but this time Salman failed to impress audience.
Jai Ho started on average note on first day with collection of around 17cr and then dropped slightly on day 2 and collected 16cr after that it had shown excellent growth on day 2 and collected around 25cr thus, putted up the total of 58cr for first weekend which was a decent figure.After sunday collection it gave some hope that it will put up big numbers for lifetime but it failed to sustain in weekdays On monday Jai Ho holded its collection very well and collected 9cr but thereafter it had started showing big drops with each passing day and collection came down rapidly.
Jai Ho has collected 83cr approximately in its first week which is a very low figure for an big film and  also if we compare it to recent biggies like Dhoom3, K3 and CE it is looking very low figure. Dhoom3 had collected around 175cr in first week which is more than the double of first week of Jai Ho.

Now Jai Ho have to sustain well in Second week otherwise it may struggle to achieve even Semi Hit/Hit status and may end up with just an Average fair. For makers Jai Ho already made huge profit as they had sold it for hefty prices to Eros[111cr] and also the satellite right had been sold on huge price of 55cr. But its Distributors and sub distributors who will suffer big loss because Jai Ho have to collect atleast 155-165cr to recover all their money which is impossible for Jai HO. As of now Jai Ho is heading for 115cr-120cr business at best.
